Programme Description
The SISO Workplace Safety Risk Management Workshop is a highly interactive and practical one-day workshop designed to equip organisations with the knowledge and skills to develop, implement and maintain an effective Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Risk Management (RM) system.
Through a combination of facilitator-led discussions, practical exercises and guided document development, participants will learn how to identify workplace hazards, assess and control risks using the WSH Risk Management methodology, and prepare the essential documentation required for regulatory workplace safety and health audits.
Participants will work on examples based on their own workplace activities and develop key documents, including a Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Policy, Risk Assessment Register, Safe Work Procedures (SWPs) and a Risk Management Implementation Plan. Practical templates and guidance will be provided to enable participants to customise and implement these documents within their organisations.
By the end of the workshop, participants will have a practical understanding of workplace risk management principles and be better prepared to support regulatory workplace safety and health audits while strengthening their organisation's workplace safety management practices.
