Synopsis
Creating a safe workplace means ensuring that every employee can work confidently, regardless of ability or neurodiversity. This practical one-day programme equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills to build workplaces that are physically, psychologically and psychosocially safe for everyone. Participants will explore the workplace challenges and safety needs of persons with disabilities and neurodivergent individuals, identify accessibility barriers and hazards, and apply inclusive risk assessment, reasonable accommodations and practical control measures. The programme examines how inclusive workplace design, communication and leadership contribute to safer workplaces while supporting compliance with Singapore's WSH framework, ISO 45003, the UN CRPD and Singapore's Enabling Masterplan 2030.

Programme Description
An inclusive workplace values and protects every worker by removing physical, social and attitudinal barriers so everyone can participate safely. Participants will recognise accessibility, communication, sensory and cognitive barriers, understand diverse workplace safety needs, identify hazards that affect workers differently, and apply inclusive control measures, reasonable accommodations, assistive technologies and emergency planning considerations. Practical exercises allow learners to apply inclusive risk assessment and risk management principles to real workplace scenarios.
