Synopsis
Traditional safety management focuses on rules, inspections and compliance. However, sustainable workplace safety depends on influencing behaviours, encouraging ownership and building a positive safety culture.
Coaching for Safety equips Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) professionals, supervisors and leaders with practical coaching techniques to improve communication, influence safe behaviours and achieve lasting behavioural change.
Participants will learn internationally recognised coaching techniques, including active listening, powerful questioning, reflective learning and the GROW coaching model. Through practical workplace scenarios and peer coaching exercises, participants will gain the confidence to coach individuals towards safer work practices and stronger accountability.

Programme Description
This programme equips Workplace Safety and Health professionals with practical coaching knowledge and skills to conduct effective coaching conversations using active listening, powerful questioning, reflective learning and the GROW Coaching Model. Through discussions, workplace scenarios, peer coaching and practical exercises, participants learn to influence safe workplace behaviours, coach unsafe behaviours and strengthen organisational safety culture. Participants receive one complimentary one-to-one coaching session after successful completion.
